In 2008, yield of a new variety of winter triticale of Belarusian selection reached the level of 100 c/ha

In the current year, the yield of new varieties of winter triticale of Belarusian selection reached the level of 100 c/ha. After the government provided successful tests, the crops were included to the State list in 2009, declared Sviatoslav Tankevitch, the director of the State inspectorate of testing and protection of plant sorts.

According to him, during the recent years, Belarus increased triticale usage in sowing structures.

The usage of the new varieties will allow to Belarus to harvest stable rich crops and keep the technologies of cultivating.
