MINSK, Dec 19 (Reuters) - Belarus has a good chance of securing a $2 billion loan from the International Monetary Fund, deputy prime minister Viktor Burya said on Friday.
"The chances are good. The government has done everything," Burya said, adding that talks were continuing.
An IMF mission is making its second visit to Belarus to discuss the loan to provide what officials describe as a "safety cushion" against the effects of the world financial crisis. (Reporting by Andrei Makhovsky, writing by Toni Vorobyova)
