MOSCOW. Dec 1 (Interfax) - Russia is certain that Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko is constructive when it comes to holding a session of the Russia-Belarus Union State's Supreme State Council (SSC).
In particular, the Kremlin press office does not link the statements by a source from the Belarusian president's entourage with what Lukashenko himself thinks about the postponed SSC session.
The Russian presidential press office has already explained the situation regarding the Union State SSC session, a Kremlin source said. "As for the statements by a source from the Belarusian president's closest entourage, these are invented," the source said.
"No one should be bothered," he said. "Most likely, Alexander Lukashenko thinks otherwise, that is constructively," he said.
A source from Belarusian President Lukashenko's closest entourage, who did not want to be named, told Interfax-West earlier that Minsk was "concerned by Russia's "tossing about" over the issue of the Union State development."
