MINSK - Starting December 12, Belarusian passports are not stamped when their owners enter or exit the country.
The new regulation was introduced by a presidential decree signed by Alyaksandr Lukashenka on July 3.
An officer at the Belarusian State Border Committee told RFE/RL's Belarus Service that foreigners and individuals without Belarusian citizenship will continue to have their travel documents stamped by Belarusian border guards.
