MINSK -- Belarus signed an agreement Friday with a consortium of international banks to take out its second syndicated loan of $86 million, the country's finance minister, Nikolai Korbut, said Monday, Prime-Tass reported.
The arrangers of the loans are Vneshtorgbank and Germany's BayernLB. Aside from the lenders, 18 investors from 14 countries are participating in the loan. The Belarussian Finance Ministry expects to receive the loan by 2007, Prime-Tass reported. (MT)
