Belarus boosts ferrous output 12% in 11 mths

MINSK. Dec 20 (Interfax) - Belarus increased ferrous metals output 11.9% year-on-year in constant prices in January-November to 2.618 trillion Belarussian rubles (2,140 Bel. rubles/$1 on Dec. 20), the Statistics and Analysis Ministry told Interfax.

Production grew 11.1% to 2.126 million tonnes of crude steel, 12% to 1.968 million tonnes of roll, 24.4% to 121,100 tonnes of steel pipes, 11.3% to 68,400 tonnes of steel wire and 10.9% to 81,800 tonnes of steel cord. rm
