Industrial production in Belarus grows 11.9% in 11 mths

MINSK. Dec 19 (Interfax) - Industrial production in Belarus rose 11.9% year-on-year in constant prices in the first eleven months of 2006 to 68.516 trillion Belarussian rubles in current prices, a source at the Ministry of Statistics and Analysis told Interfax.

Industrial output in November was up 8.9% year-on-year, but fell 0.4% from the previous month in constant prices.

Production was up 3% to 28.7 billion kWh of electricity, but down 0.7% at 1.631 million tonnes of crude oil.
