Nuclear power sector key to Belarussian security - Lukashenko

MINSK. Dec 1 (Interfax) - Belarus will be unable to ensure its energy and national security if it does not create its own nuclear power sector, Belarussian President Alexander Lukashenko said on Friday. "Given the emerging situation with energy resources in the country, guaranteeing our country's national security through developing our own nuclear power sector has practically no alternative," he said.
