Belarus: grain harvest except for maize totals 8.8 mln tonnes

This year, Belarus harvested 8.8 mln tonnes of grains except for maize, reported the main department of plant growing of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.

Also, the harvest of grains and legumes totals 9.3 mln tonnes. An average yield totaled 38.7 c/ha.

Croppage of wheat and triticale increased by 46%, wheat yield increased by 8 c/ha and totaled 44.5 c/ha, triticale yield increased by 10 c/ha to 43.8 c/ha. Barley harvest totals 360.000 tonnes.
