MINSK, Nov 24 - Belarus and the International Monetary Fund have made significant progress in agreeing on measures which Minsk must take in order to receive a loan, the Fund said on Monday.
Belarus's central bank said earlier that the IMF is to return in December to continue talks on a $2 billion loan.
"The Belarussian authorities and the mission have reached significant progress and common understanding on policy measures for granting assistance to help Belarus overcome the current complex global situation," the IMF said in a statement.
