Belarus - Lev Leviev Group set to invest in Belarus in various sectors

Lev Leviev, the king of diamonds, met with President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko to discuss investment.
Israel-Times Russia Russian Lev Leviev, head of Leviev Group of Companies, spoke in positive terms about the prospects of making investments into the development of the Belarusian civil engineering industry, the relocation of industrial enterprises from Minsk and the development of unoccupied areas. Besides, there are plans for implementing projects in the pharmaceutical industry, tourism and recreation.
After the meeting Alexander Lukashenko instructed the government and the National Bank to put together a plan of cooperation with Leviev Group of Companies by the end of the year and to begin implementing specific agreements starting January 1, 2008.
