TEO, Beltelecom add second fibre link

Lithuanian telco TEO has installed a second fibre optic connection with the networks of Belarus telecommunications operator Beltelecom.
TEO says that this new connection will double the speed of data transmission between the countries.
TEO and Beltelecom installed the first optical link between Lithuania and Belarus in 1997.
