Russia company to bid for building n-plant in Belarus

MINSK October 11 (Itar-Tass) - The Russian company Atomstroieksport will compete with two groups of Western companies in future biddings for the construction of a nuclear power plant in Belarus, the Belarussian president's press service told ITAR-TASS on Thursday.

"The president ordered at the conference to prepare for holding a tender for the construction of the nuclear power plant. There are three options: these are a group of joint companies of the US, and Japan, France and Germany, as well as the Russian closed joint stock company Atomstroieksport," it said.
