Belarus will establish relations with the West without damaging Belarus-Russia relations

"Belarus will establish relations with the West without damaging the Belarus-Russia relations," announced Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko on September, 8 in Minsk at a press conference for Russian regional media.

"We will establish relations with the West; we have no alternative, because we share a common border. But the interests of Belarus and Russia and our commitments will be implemented strictly, because we are in a very close alliance with the Russian Federation economically, politically and militarily," stated the Belarusian leader.
