ASTANA. September 26. KAZINFORM. /Bauyrzhan Mukanov/ Today the Kazakh-Belarusian intergovernmental commission has signed a protocol of the 5th sitting and agreed to develop trade-economic and regional cooperation.

The sides expressed interest in creation of joint enterprises on light industry and production of furniture and mineral fertilizers in Kazakhstan.
“We have specified the place and date of the commission’s 6th sitting. It is planned to be held in Moscow in the second half of 2009”, head of the commission from the Kazakh side, Emergencies Minister Vladimir Bozhko said.
Vice Prime Minister of Belarus, head of the Belarusian delegation Ivan Bambiza called the 5th sitting very productive. “Over the previous five years commodity circulation between our states has increased six times. Mutual visits of Kazakh and Belarusian businessmen are planned for 2008-2009”, he stressed.
Besides, the countries signed agreements on physical culture and tourism development.
