Belarus, Lithuania to agree rules of border crossing for residents of frontier regions

On September 25, the Lithuanian Druskininkai is playing host to the Belarusian-Lithuanian ministerial consultations, Spokesman of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry Andrei Popov told a briefing on September 25, reported Belta.

The Belarusian delegation is led by Head of the Consular Department of the Foreign Ministry Andrei Giro, the Lithuanian - Director of the Consular Department of the Foreign Ministry Vitautas Pinkus.

During the consultations, the sides intend to agree the draft agreement between the Government of Belarus and the Government of Lithuania on the rules of border crossing for residents of the frontier regions of the two countries and the issues concerning the long-term national visas issuing.
