Belarusian businesses go online to critique government draft law on SMEs

Belarusian businesses have launched a discussion on the country's new draft law on small and medium-sized businesses on the Bel.biz portal.

Bel.biz, a Belarusian portal supporting domestic businesses, was developed by the International Financial Corporation in co-operation with Belarusian business associations.

Ivan Ivanov, head of the IFC office in Belarus, the Bel.biz hopes the online discussion will encourage the government to present a more elaborated draft to the Belarusian Parliament.

The draft law was developed by the Belarusian Ministry of the Economy.
