Grain production in Belarus totaled 7.2 mln tonnes

As of the morning of August 20, grain production of agricultural organizations of Belarus totaled 7.17 mln tonnes, with the average yield of 38.45 c/ha, declared the Ministry of agriculture and Food.

Agrarians harvested grains and leguminous plants (without maize) throughout 1.87 mln ha, or 81% of harvesting areas. Agricultural economies of Grodno oblast showed the highest index of grain yield - 46.1 c/ha.
