MOSCOW. Aug 6 (Interfax) - Belarus will soon sign an agreement on the formation of the collective rapid reaction force of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), said CSTO General Secretary Nikolai Bordyuzha.
"We are expecting Belarus to sign [the agreement] in the near future," Bordyuzha told reporters in Moscow on Thursday.
The agreement on the formation of a collective rapid reaction force has currently not been signed by Belarus and Uzbekistan, which has its own views on the composition of the collective rapid reaction force (in particular, Uzbekistan wants the collective rapid reaction force to contain anti-terrorist units).
