Grain production in Belarus reached the level of 8 mln tonnes

Grain production of agricultural economies in Belarus nearly reached the level of 8 mln tonnes, declared the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.

As of August 24, agricultural organizations of the country formed grain production volumes at the level of 7.86 mln tonnes. Agricultural economies of Minsk oblast kept the leadership at grain production and harvested 2.02 mln tonnes.

Agrarians harvested grains and leguminous plants (without maize) throughout 2.08 mln ha, or 90.6% of the planned harvesting areas.
