Ukraine proposes Belarus participate in Odesa-Brody oil pipeline project

Ukraine has proposed that Belarus consider its possible participation in the Odesa-Brody project on Caspian oil supplies.

"The Odesa-Brody project on Caspian oil supplies to the Baltic states has recently become more urgent. The main thing is that confirmation has been received from the supplier - Azerbaijan is ready to supply oil," Ukrainian Ambassador to Belarus Ihor Likhovy said at a press conference in Minsk on Friday.

Likhovy also expressed hope that "a little time will elapse when we'll receive light Caspian oil in which Belarusian oil refineries are interested as well."
