Belarus harvested nearly 7.7 mln tonnes of grain

To date, grain harvests in Belarus have reached 7.67 mln tonnes compared to 6.78 mln tonnes through the same date in 2007, according to Gregory Romanuk, head of the Main Department of Plant Growing of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.

The average yield totaled 39.5 c/ha, up 9 á compared to 2007. Farmers have harvested grain and legumes throughout 2 mln ha, or 86% of planned territories.
