Minsk, 2 August: A Tu-204 aircraft of Russia's Red Wings Airlines made an emergency landing at Minsk national airport on Saturday [2 August], an airport representative has told Interfax.
According to him, the plane was conducting a Venice-Moscow flight. A total of 191 passengers were on board.
"The reason for the emergency landing was a dangerous vibration in the first engine," the agency's interlocutor said. He added that the landing was made with one working engine.
No-one was hurt as a result of the incident. Now all the passengers are inside the airport terminal. A standby plane is expected to arrive shortly from Moscow to pick them up, the airport representative said.
