On Belarusian-Polish Consultations

The Belarusian-Polish consultations were held on August 17, 2005 in Biala Podliaska (Poland).

The Belarusian delegation was headed by the Head of the Department of Europe of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs Valerii Romashko, the Polish delegation was headed by the Deputy Director of the Department of Europe of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs - Wojceh Zajeczkowski. The representatives of the ministries for foreign affairs of two countries, of the State Secretariat of the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus, the National Security Bureau of the Republic of Poland, the Committee for religions and nationalities of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration of the Republic of Poland, and the representatives of the Embassy of Belarus in Warsaw and the Embassy of Poland in Minsk also took part in the consultations.

The parties discussed all the issues concerning the cooperation between Belarus and Poland in the spheres of political, economic, transborder and humanitarian interaction.

The consultations were held in the spirit of mutual understanding and aspiration for good-neighbor relations.
