Minsk. Editor of a polish-language newspaper published in Belarus was sentenced to 10 years in jail, Mig News announced. This is the sixth member of the Polish cultural institute, punished by Belarusian authorities because of the democratic resistance of the Polish community in the country.
The journalist, Editor in Chief of the Polish newspaper Glos Znad Niemna was found guilty for his participation in a banned demonstration held on July, 3 - Belarusian Independence day.
