Belarus to harvest nearly 9 mln tonnes of grains

In 2010, the general production of grains and leguminous plants, including maize, will total nearly 9 mln tonnes, declared Mikhail Rusyi, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus. Despite rather unfavorable weather terms, grain sowings show good and satisfactory conditions, noted the Minister.

According to him, in one or two weeks, agrarians of the country will start the harvesting campaign of rapeseed, and after July 20 - the harvesting campaign of grains.
