Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Belarus has claimed of a loan received from Azerbaijan to repay its debt before Russia's monopoly Gazprom.
Byelorussian leader Alexander Lukashenko stated that he applied on the occasion of the loan to his Azerbaijani counterpart and the latter lent $200 million for less than 24 hours.
"$187 million of them we paid to Gazprom," Lukashenko said.
Earlier Azerbaijan extended a state loan for similar amount ($200 million) to Georgia. In the context of the borrowing from Azerbaijan the President of Belarus called Ilham Aliyev "his friend".
