"Russian President Dmitry Medvedev plans to sit down with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko in the near future", a source in the Kremlin told reporters on Tuesday.
"Moscow has repeatedly called for a full-fledged dialogue with Minsk", a presidential aide said, citing a recent telephone conversation between Medvedev and Lukashenko, who exchanged views on the upcoming high-level meeting.
In particular, the two leaders confirmed their readiness to focus on the creation of the three-way Customs Union during their parleys.
