Gazprom cuts off gas supplies to Belarus by 60%

Moscow. Russian energy giant Gazprom has cut off gas supplies to Belarus by 60% of the normal volume, RIA Novosti announced.

A scandal erupted in recent days between Minsk and Moscow over outstanding obligations, such as Belarus owes Russia money received for natural gas, but Gazprom has commitments for raw materials in transit via Belarus to the EU.
