Belarus says could take gas from transit pipelines

MOSCOW June 22 (Reuters) - Belarus will be forced to take gas from Europe-bound transit pipelines in order to maintain domestic supply levels, Russia's RIA news agency reported on Tuesday citing the Belarussian government.

Earlier Gazprom (GAZP.MM: Quote) said Belarus had threatened to start syphoning off transit gas if Russia extended supply cuts in the pricing and debt dispute with its neighbour. [ID:nLDE65L0C6]
