Italy sees no impact from Belarus gas dispute

ROME June 22 (Reuters) - Italy's foreign ministry on Tuesday said a growing gas dispute between Russia and Belarus would not have any impact on supplies to Italy.

"The majority of gas headed for Italy transits via Ukraine and the gas bought at the start of the summer season anyway serves more for stocks than for consumption," Foreign Ministry spokesman Maurizio Massari told a briefing.
