MTIS to invest 700,000EUR in cable TV expansion

State-owned Minsk TV and Information Networks (MTIS) will invest Br 2 bln (?700,000) this year in expanding and reconstructing its cable TV network, reports E-Belarus.org.

This figure is a 20 per cent increase from the amount invested in the network last year.

MTIS' cable service currently has 300,000 subscribers and offers 21-29 channels.
