Minsk, 23 June: Belarusian President Alyaksandr Lukashenka regards the Collective Security Treaty Organization as the most efficient organization in the post-Soviet area. He made a statement to this effect today in Moscow after the end of the Collective Security Treaty Organization session.
Lukashenka believes that the Collective Security Treaty Organization is the most effective structure in terms of military development, personnel training and foreign policy.
Answering the journalists' questions he said that the organizations is at the forefront of efforts to tackle a range of acute problems, including international terrorism, transnational crime, drugs trafficking and illegal migration. He stressed that these issues will not be resolved without the involvement of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
The next session of the Collective Security Treaty Organization will be convened in Minsk in 2006.
