KGB of Belarus detained head od oil chemical corporation

Belarus State Security Committee (KGB) detained the head of concern Belneftehim, Alexander Borovsky, Belarus media are reporting, referring to the country's public prosecutor's office. General public prosecutor of Belarus, Peter Miklashevich, explained the reason of Borovsky's detention with , daily Nezavisimaya gazeta writes. Accoridng to Miklashevich, representatives of commercial structures from whom the large sums of money and jewelry are withdrawn are also detained. All arrested persons are put in a KGB investigatory insulator.

Belarus business and journalistic circles have two mutually exclusive versions of an event. Volumes of oil processing, export deliveries have essentially decreased. Loud arrest of the main petroleum expert shows that Belarus government has ascertained negative influence of condition of the branch on economic progress of the country in whole, Nezavisimaya gazeta concludes.
