Ukrainian Foreign Ministry praises ratification of state border treaty by Belarus

This is what the MFA said in an official statement.It notes a coherent and constructive policy of the official Minsk to implement the agreements reached between President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych and President of the Republic of Belarus Alexandr Lukashenko.

Ratification by the Belarusian parliament of the bilateral agreement provides an opportunity to finally unblock and complete the contractual and legal registration of the Ukrainian-Belarusian state border and begin the demarcation," reads the statement. The document emphasizes that the decision of the Belarusian parliament will strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of development and border management in accordance with European standards and will enhance regional security and stability in Europe.
