Polish companies absent at the Belarusian tourist fair

Polish tour operators were absent at the Belarussian tourist fair in Minsk, although representatives of tens of countries were present.

Tourist industry workers agree - this is an unusual situation for Polish companies not to be represented at the fair.

Many Belarusians are interested in trips to Poland; they usually visit Krakow, Gdansk, Warsaw and the Polish coast of the Baltic. In recent months, however, Belarusian tourists have been having a hard time getting a visa to enter Poland.

The tourist fair in Belarus lasted nearly a week. Only three stands offered information about trips to Poland.
