MINSK (Reuters) - Main Belarussian opposition leader Alexander Milinkevich was detained on Thursday and driven away to a police station a day after major rally in Minsk, his aide said.
"We were expecting a summons, but instead the OMON (riot police) came. They told Milinkevich he was detained, put him in a car and took him away to a police station," Pavel Mozheiko told Reuters.
