Despite EP rejection, Armenia supports participation of Belarus in Euronest
PanARMENIAN.Net - Head of the Armenian delegation to Euronest Parliamentary Assembly Vahan Hovhannisyan said that Armenia supports Belarus' participation in Euronest.
"We think that dual standards are applied towards Belarus and that is why our delegation spoke in support of Minsk," Hovhannisyan said during a press conference in Yerevan.
"From the point of view of democracy, Azerbaijan does not comply with the European standards either. Following Lukashenko's example, Ilham Aliyev is going to run for presidency permanently. And due to unknown reasons Europe wants to work with Baku, but not with Minsk. Does Belarus lack oil?" he said.
