In 2011, Belarus to produce nearly 10 mln tonnes of grains

In 2011, Belarus plans to produce nearly 10 mln tonnes of grains in all categories of agricultural enterprises, declared Mikhail Rusyi, Minister of Agriculture, on February 15.

According to the Minister, in the current year it is necessary for the country to produce nearly 10 mln tonnes of grains, 60 thsd tonnes of flax-fibre, 870 thsd tonnes of rapeseeds.

The country started building, reconstruction and modernization of 163 grain cleaning complexes and 43 grain storages of silo type, announced M.Rusyi.
