Belarus to regulate mobile interconnect rates from 2012

The Belarusian Ministry of Economy plans to regulate interconnection rates charged by Belarusian mobile operators from 1 February 2012, according to a government decision reported by news portal Tut.by. The government asked the ministry to come up with a method of setting the tariffs by 1 October this year. Traffic exchange among Belarusian operators is currently carried out using the network of national operator Beltelecom.
