Belarus grows to 10.3 mln mobile subscribers in 2010

Mobile subscribers in Belarus reached 10.3 million at the end of 2010, according to the Ministry of Communications and Information. Mobile coverage reacged 97.8 percent of the country's area, and the number of subscribers has grown 2.5 times in five years. The broadband subscriber base numbered 1.8 million at year-end, and the capacity of the internet gateway increased more than 100 times last year, to 67 Gbps
