KIEV, Feb. 3 - Ukraine suspended exports of power to Belarus in January following a disagreement over prices, Deputy Prime Minister Andriy Kliuyev said.
He said Belarus demanded to lower power prices after Russia has suggested supplying cheaper power to replace supplies from Ukraine.
"The Belarusans are not happy with the price," Kliuyev said after a government meeting on Wednesday. "They have an alternative proposition from Russia. They believe that the price of Ukrainian power is too high for Belarus."
