Solana: Belarus deserves special place in Eastern Partnership

Minsk - EU High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy Javier Solana believes that Belarus deserves a special place in the EU Eastern Partnership initiative.

Work on the Eastern Partnership project is among the EU priorities in 2009, Solana told reporters in Minsk on Thursday.

There is a special place for Belarus in the Eastern Partnership, he said.
