Ukraine and Belarus agreed draft deal on no-visa travelling for citizens

Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs press secretary Vasyl Kyrylych announced this at a briefing today.

One of the principal provisions of the instrument is extension of the duration of stay of the Ukrainian citizens in Belarus without registration from three to thirty days. "This let our citizens visit Belarus without additional restrictions," Mr Kyrylych noted. He assured that the Ukrainian MFA will take efforts so that the agreement is signed in early Q2 2009.
