MINSK. Jan 4 (Interfax-West) - Press secretary of the Belarussian Foreign Ministry Andrei Popov has described the introduction of a duty on Russian oil transit as a measure of reply to the decision of the Russian government to impose export duties on oil exported to Belarus.
"The move of the Belarussian side by no means restricts oil transit to third countries," he said.
"Belarus strictly observes its international commitments to guarantee free transit across its territory," he said. ml
