MINSK. Jan 29 (Interfax) - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad plans to visit Belarus soon, a source in the Foreign Ministry's press service told Interfax.
Foreign Minister Sergey Martynov met with Ahmadinejad in Iran, the source said.
"The Belarusian foreign minister handed over to the Iranian leader a personal message from Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, which confirmed an invitation to visit our country. Ahmadinejad said he would visit in the near future," the source said.
