MINSK, January 19 (Itar-Tass) -- An Atlantic cyclone that swept over Europe on Thursday has reached Belarus. The wind exceeded 25-30 meters per second, and it rained heavily.
A storm warning was given in Minsk, and traffic police were alerted.
The local hydro-meteorological center said that the storm would leave Belarus within a day.
This is the third January storm in Belarus. The cyclone of January 14-15 inflicted damages of about 2.1 billion Belarussian rubles (some $1 million).
