MOSCOW, Jan 15 (Reuters) - An agreement to settle an energy dispute between Russia and Belarus was a good compromise which represents a subsidy of $5.8 billion for Minsk in 2007, Russian President Vladimir Putin was quoted as saying on Monday.
RIA news agency quoted Putin as saying Russia's support, which would help Belarus's transition towards a market economy, amounted to $3.3 billion in the gas sector and $2.5 billion in oil and oil products
