MOSCOW. Jan 15 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that agreements reached on energy deliveries to and transit through Belarus is "an acceptable compromise."
"This is an acceptable compromise for both parties," the Russian president said at a meeting with members of the government.
Putin noted that "the main result of talks is the switch to market relations with Belarus, primarily in the energy area."
