MOSCOW, January 11 (Itar-Tass) -- The State Duma welcomes that the crisis with oil supplies via Belarus was settled, State Duma Speaker Boris Gryzlov said on Thursday. He also expressed confidence that a meeting of the two premiers "will allow easing tensions."
Gryzlov noted that the common goal of the two countries is the construction of the Union State. According to him, the sides have done much for the integration in the Union State. "Much has been done for social security, broadening military cooperation," the speaker pointed out.
Meanwhile, Gryzlov noted that it is necessary to continue the work on economic integration. "I want to recall that decisions on gas and oil supplies to Belarus are the most privileged on the whole post-Soviet space," he remarked.
